Hotel San Rocco is located in a magical and picturesque setting on the shores of Lake Orta. The history of Hotel San Rocco began more than 400 years ago when, on the shores of the magical Piedmontese Lake Orta, in the pedestrianised village of Orta San Giulio and bordered by the ancient walls of a monastery, this building, which had been a cloistered convent for almost 150 years, officially became a hotel in 1960 with 77 rooms on three floors. Villa Gippini, with 11 rooms, was later added to the original structure with 33 rooms, making Hotel San Rocco the most prestigious hotel complex in the Lake Orta area. The 2 buildings are connected.
