Trekking at the Cinque Terre 2026

An experience dedicated to trekking and nature lovers, discovering one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Mediterranean.

Along the ancient paths of the Cinque Terre, you will walk through terraced vineyards, fragrant Mediterranean scrub, and breathtaking cliffside views over the sea, reaching the iconic villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso.

The itinerary follows historic trails shaped over centuries by local communities, who transformed this rugged coastline into a unique cultural landscape, now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Each stop offers unforgettable sea views and the chance to experience the authentic atmosphere of traditional Ligurian villages.

The journey also includes scenic hikes through the vineyards of Riomaggiore, the Sanctuary of Montenero, Campiglia, and Portovenere, along paths offering some of the most spectacular views of the Eastern Ligurian Riviera.

An adventure between sea and sky, where sport, nature, and extraordinary landscapes come together in an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Cinque Terre.

Program

 
Arrival and accommodation in a 3- or 4-star hotel (at your convenience). Dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, departure by train towards Riomaggiore, with a visit to the village, followed by continuation to Manarola.

Crossing the Cinque Terre National Park and passing through Punta Bonfiglio, you will reach Corniglia. Visit of the village and continuation to Vernazza, a charming medieval fishing village.

The route, surrounded by olive groves and Mediterranean vegetation, offers spectacular views over the sea and the colorful cliffside villages.

Final stop in Monterosso al Mare, the last village of the Cinque Terre.

Return by train to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, departure by train to Riomaggiore.

From the village, the hike begins uphill through vineyards along marked trail No. 3, leading to the Sanctuary of Montenero.

From there, the route continues towards Telegrafo, connecting with trail No. 1, passing through scenic and rugged terrain.

The path leads onward to Campiglia and the Muzzerone Fort, with areas suitable for free climbing.

From Campiglia, one of the most spectacular sections begins, with increasingly steep slopes, in places almost vertical above the sea.

A final descent brings you to Portovenere, where you will enjoy free time to relax and refresh.

Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
